Manage billing
Under the organisation's Billing.
Only an owner can manage it
Reading billing is available to admins. Managing it — changing the subscription, payment details, anything that costs money — is owner-only.
This is not a permission you can grant. It appears in the permission matrix, but assigning it to another role has no effect. If someone must manage billing, they have to be an owner.
Worth knowing before promising a colleague you can give them access: you cannot.
Steps
- Open the organisation's Billing.
- Review the current subscription and usage.
- Make changes, if you are an owner.
If the controls are missing
You are an admin rather than an owner. Reading is all admins get, and nothing you change in the roles editor will alter that.
Either an owner makes the change, or someone makes you an owner — see change someone's role.
Billing is per organisation
Each organisation has its own. Being an owner of one grants nothing in another, and a group running several organisations bills each separately.
Before removing the last owner
An organisation with no owner has nobody who can manage its billing. Appoint a replacement first — see remove someone.
