How access works
Access in Yessort answers two questions, separately.
The five roles
Every organisation has the same five roles. You cannot add a sixth, but you can change what four of them grant.
Editing what a role can do
The five role names are fixed. What each one grants is yours to change, for your organisation, without affecting anyone else's.
Site scope
Site scope answers where someone can work. It narrows the sites a person sees and acts on.
Members and invitations
Someone gains access to an organisation by becoming a member of it. An invitation is how they get there.
Teams
A team collects members of an organisation under a name.
The audit log
The audit log records who did what. Each entry names the person, the action, the resource it affected, and when.
Trading brands
A trading brand is the identity an order and its paperwork are presented under — the name a customer sees on what you send them.
Feature toggles
Some parts of Yessort are switched on per organisation rather than being available to everyone at once. A feature toggle is that switch.
Your account and your organisation
Two sets of settings, in two places, and the difference matters.
