How customers work
A customer is the buyer on an order — who they are, how to reach them, and where things go.
Customer accounts
A customer account is a business you trade with. It is the commercial relationship, distinct from the individuals who place the orders.
What an account decides
A customer account carries several settings, and they are not equal. Some change what Yessort does. Others are recorded and nothing reads them.
Customer groups
A customer group collects customers together under a label. It has a name, a code, a description, and members.
Payment terms
Payment terms are how many days a customer has to pay — what turns an invoice date into a due date.
Data retention and anonymising
Customer records hold personal data — a name, an email, a phone number, addresses. Yessort does not keep it indefinitely, and it can remove it on request.
