Connect a Shopify store
Connecting a store creates two things: a connection holding the credentials, and a channel representing selling through that store.
Map Shopify locations to sites
A Shopify "Location" is a building, so it maps to a Yessort site — never to a Yessort location, which is a spot inside a site.
Review and commit your catalogue
After the store's locations are mapped, Yessort pulls its products into a staging area. Nothing reaches your catalogue until you commit, so you can take your time.
Activate a channel
Activating is the last step of connecting a store. It subscribes Yessort to the store's events and puts the channel live.
Publish a variant to a channel
Publishing creates the link between a Yessort variant and a listing on the channel, so the channel can sell it and Yessort can send it a price and a stock figure.
Clear the channel review queue
When a store has a product Yessort does not, it is proposed rather than created. The queue is where you decide what happens to it, and it is meant to be cleared regularly rather than left to build up.
Resolve a SKU or barcode conflict
A conflict is raised when a store sends an edit carrying a SKU or barcode that already belongs to a different Yessort variant.
Re-sync a channel catalogue
A catalogue sync re-reads the store and reconciles what it finds. Use it when products have been added or changed in the store and you want Yessort to catch up in one go rather than waiting for individual events.
Check channel coverage
The coverage matrix, under Catalogue in the workspace, shows every product against every channel and the state of each link. It is the one place you can see what is selling where without opening products one at a time.
Unlist a variant from a channel
Unlisting removes the link between a Yessort variant and its listing on one channel. The variant keeps its stock, its history and its listings everywhere else — only that channel stops selling it.
Resolve a stock reconcile review
A reconcile compares the store's on-hand figure against Yessort's total for a site — the sum across every location there, not one bin — and records what it finds.
Recover negative stock
Negative recovery, under Inventory, lists every pickable location sitting below zero — units that have gone out which Yessort has no record of ever holding.
Choose what the channel can change
By default Yessort is the sole authority on a linked variant, and the store may propose new products but not edit existing ones. These settings let you open that up, field by field.
Map a payment gateway
An order carries the gateway it was paid through, named the way the store names it. Mapping tells Yessort which payment method that gateway means.
Set a channel's defaults
A channel's defaults decide how orders placed against it are priced, where they are fulfilled from, and what the store tells the customer.
Check a channel's sync activity
When something has not reached the store, or an order has not arrived, the channel's own page under Integrations is where to look. Needs organisation-admin access.
