Unlisting and relisting

Taking something off sale on a channel removes the link between the Yessort variant and the listing. The variant is untouched — it keeps its stock, its history and its listings on every other channel. Only that one channel stops selling it.

What matters later is why it came off, because that decides whether it comes back on its own.

Three ways something comes off sale

You archived the product in Yessort. The whole product stops selling on the channel, and Yessort asks the store to archive it too.

Someone archived the product in the store. Yessort follows: the product comes off sale on that channel. The store is the authority on whether something is on sale there.

You unlisted a single variant. One variant comes off while the rest of the product carries on selling. If it was the last variant still listed, there is nothing left to sell, so the whole listing is archived as well.

Yessort keeps these apart rather than recording "removed" three times, because the question "what has the merchant withdrawn in the store?" needs to be answerable, and it is not if the products you archived and the ones they archived look the same.

What comes back

If a product goes from archived to active in the store, that reads as "sell this again". Yessort restores the listing — whether it was you or the merchant who archived it. Reversing an archive is symmetric with making one.

A variant you deliberately unlisted is never brought back this way. The merchant reactivating a product says nothing about one variant you chose to stop selling while its siblings stayed on. Sweeping it back in would silently undo a decision you made, so a whole-product restore never touches it. To sell it again, publish it to the channel yourself.

Unlisting is not archiving

Unlisting affects one channel. Archiving a variant in Yessort takes it out of your catalogue everywhere.

If you want something off one store but still selling elsewhere, unlist it from that channel. See unlist a variant from a channel.
