Channel settings fields
Channel settings live under your organisation's Integrations settings and need organisation-admin access.
Identity
| Field | What it affects |
|---|---|
| Name | How the channel is labelled everywhere. Must be unique within the organisation |
| Image and colour | The channel's avatar. The colour is used when there is no image |
| Type | Whether this is a Shopify channel or a manual one. Fixed when the channel is created |
| Status | Active or inactive. An inactive channel stays visible with its history and settings, but takes no new orders and syncs nothing |
Commercial
| Field | What it affects | If unset |
|---|---|---|
| Currency | The currency of prices and orders on this channel | Required |
| Default price list | Which prices are published to the store | Nothing is published until you pick one |
| Trading brand | The brand orders from this channel render under | The organisation's default is used |
An order's own brand takes precedence over the channel's, and the channel's over the organisation's.
Fulfilment
| Field | What it affects | If unset |
|---|---|---|
| Default site | Where orders allocate from when nothing else decides | Lines fall to the operator's judgement |
| Honour the store's location hint | Whether an incoming line's location hint decides its site, or Yessort's own routing does | The organisation's routing default is used |
| Notify customer on fulfilment | Whether a dispatch asks the store to email the customer | Off |
Payments
| Field | What it affects | If unset |
|---|---|---|
| Default payment method | Used for an order whose gateway matches nothing you have mapped | The payment is held until the gateway is mapped |
Gateways are discovered as orders arrive rather than configured in advance — see map a payment gateway.
Catalogue
| Field | Default |
|---|---|
| Publish mode | Manual select |
| Stage new products for review | On |
| Sync SKU, barcode, price, presentation | Off |
| Resolve vendor to brand | On |
| Derive taxable from tax category | Off |
Each of these is explained with its reasoning in inbound and outbound settings.
Locations
Not a field but a table: each of the store's locations is mapped to a Yessort site, or marked ignored. Exactly one non-ignored mapping is the channel's default, used for order lines that do not say where they came from.
See map Shopify locations to sites.
The connection
A Shopify channel points at the connection holding the store's credentials. Credentials are never shown back once saved.
A connection is active, paused or in error, separately from the channel's own status. A connection in error keeps its last error until the next successful sync clears it.
