What a channel sends to Yessort
Yessort subscribes to these events when a channel is activated. Being told about something is not the same as acting on it — what Yessort does with product events in particular is governed by inbound and outbound settings.
Orders
| Event | What Yessort does |
|---|---|
| Order created | Creates the Yessort order |
| Order updated | Updates it |
| Order edited | Applies the edit — see editing orders |
| Order cancelled | Cancels it |
| Order paid | Records the payment, and the gateway it came through |
Refunds
| Event | What Yessort does |
|---|---|
| Refund created | Records the refund against the order |
Fulfilment
| Event | What Yessort does |
|---|---|
| Fulfilment created | Records a dispatch the store made |
| Fulfilment updated | Updates it |
| Fulfilment order moved | Re-points the work at a different location |
| Fulfilment order split | Splits the work |
| Fulfilment order merged | Merges it back |
| Fulfilment order cancelled | Cancels it |
| Order routing complete | The store has finished deciding where the order is fulfilled from |
Transfers and shipments
The store's own transfers and shipments, mirrored so its stock movements are visible in Yessort: ready to ship, complete, cancelled; and a shipment marked in transit, received, or deleted.
Products
| Event | What Yessort does |
|---|---|
| Product created | Stages it into the review queue if Yessort has no link for it |
| Product updated | Stages it if unlinked. If linked, applies only the fields you have opted into |
| Product deleted | Removes the links to it |
Yessort subscribes to product events regardless of your settings. The settings decide what happens to the events, not whether they arrive. A store with every inbound field setting off is still told about product edits — it simply declines to write them onto linked variants.
App
Uninstallation, a change to the app's permissions, and a change to the app subscription. These keep the connection's own state correct.
What is not subscribed
Stock level events. Yessort holds the authoritative stock figure and tells the store what to display, so there is nothing to listen for. This follows from who owns your product data; differences are found by the checks in keeping stock in step rather than by the store reporting them.
