First steps
Welcome. This guide gets you from a brand-new Yessort account to receiving stock and fulfilling your first order.
1. Sign in
Open Yessort in your browser and sign in with the credentials from your welcome email. If you haven't received an invite yet, ask your administrator to add you to the workspace.
2. Set up your warehouse
Before you can track stock, Yessort needs to know about your physical space:
- Go to Sites, then select New site.
- Add a warehouse and give it a recognisable name.
- Create a few locations — the shelves, racks, or zones where stock physically lives.
3. Add your first product
Head to Products and create an item for something you sell. At a minimum you'll need a name and a SKU. See Products overview for the full picture.
4. Receive some stock
With a product and a location in place, you can bring stock in. If it came from a supplier, record it as a goods receipt — that is what puts the stock on hand and sets what it cost. To load an opening balance instead, adjust the stock directly.
5. Fulfil an order
Once you have stock on hand, you're ready to pick, pack, and dispatch. See Orders overview.
Next steps
That's the core loop: products → inventory → orders. Each section in this help site goes deeper on the day-to-day tasks within it.
