Site fields
| Field | What it means | Notes |

| Name | The site's display name. | |
| Code | A short identifier for the site. | Auto-derived from the name, and auto-suffixed to stay unique. Appears in URLs, reports, and transfer numbers. |
| Type | Warehouse, shop, or virtual. | |
| Image and palette | The site's avatar. | Palette sets the fallback colour when no image is set. |
| Address | Line 1/2, city, postcode, country. | Optional — leave blank for sites without a postal address, such as virtual sites. |
| Email and phone | Site contact details. | Used on delivery notes and shipping labels. |
| Active | Whether the site is in use. | Inactive sites can't receive new stock. |
Location fields

| Code | The physical label, e.g. A-01-03-B. | Unique within the site. |
| Name | An optional description. | |
| Barcode | An optional scannable code for the location. | Used to identify the location when scanning. |
| Zone / Aisle / Bay / Shelf position | Free-text parts of the location's address. | |
| Type | See location types. | Standard, quarantine, damaged, receiving, dispatch, or virtual. |
| Storage role | How the location is used in the pick-and-replenish flow: general, pick face, or reserve. | General (the default) is picked and put away freely; a pick face is picked first and topped up by replenishment; a reserve holds bulk stock and is picked only when pick faces run short. |
| Max units | The location's capacity in units. | Optional — leave blank for unlimited. |
| Pickable | Whether the location can be a pick source for sales orders. | |
| Receivable | Whether the location accepts inbound stock. | |
| Allow mixed SKUs | Whether the location may hold more than one SKU at once. | On by default. |
| Allow lot mix | Whether the location may hold more than one lot of a variant at once. | On by default. |
| Active | Whether the location is in use. | |
| Sequence | Pick-walk order within the site. | Lower numbers come first. |
