Edit or cancel an order

This applies to a confirmed order — the editor appears on the order's Items card once it's been confirmed.

Edit a line

  1. Open the order and select Edit lines on the Items card.
  2. For an order from a sales channel, a note explains that changes sync back to the channel on save, and that the whole edit is rejected if any part can't be pushed — a price increase, a line already fulfilled on the channel, or a variant that isn't synced to it.
  3. For each line:
    • Change Qty or Unit price to update that line.
    • Select the trash icon to mark the line for removal. Select it again to keep the line after all.
    • A line that's already fulfilled is locked in this dialog and can't be changed here; the dialog shows how many lines this applies to.
  4. Select Save changes.

Cancelling an order

Yessort has no single "cancel order" action. An order's Cancelled status is set when the sales channel cancels the order — Yessort picks that up automatically, so there's nothing to do on the Yessort side for a channel order.

An order created directly in Yessort has no sales channel to cancel it, so there's no Cancelled status to reach. To stop one being fulfilled, remove all of its lines: open Edit lines on the Items card, select the trash icon on every line to mark them all for removal, then select Save changes. That leaves nothing left to pick, pack or dispatch.

What it does

The edit is recorded as a revision. Because the order's fulfilment status is derived from its quantities rather than stored, the change is reflected immediately — there's nothing to reconcile by hand.

See editing orders for how these revisions are kept, what a removed line means, and how much a line's quantity can still be reduced once picking has started.
