Run a pick

  1. Go to Picking. Each pick queue shows a card with how much work is waiting. Select the card's button — Pick next order for a single-order queue, or Start run (next N) for any other method — to claim a run.
  2. Work the lines in the order they're shown — locations are sequenced to give a sensible walk through the site.
  3. For each line, check the location and SKU shown (with lot and expiry details where they apply), enter the quantity you actually picked, and select Pick to confirm it. The quantity defaults to the full amount needed.
  4. Once every line is picked, select Finish run.

Short picks

If the full quantity isn't there, enter the quantity you actually found and select Pick anyway. Yessort records it as a short pick: the shortfall goes back to the queue for someone else to pick, and what you did pick stands, because the stock has physically moved. See how picking works for why a short pick is handled this way.

Selecting Finish run with lines still unpicked asks you to confirm — finishing sends those lines back to the queue too, while anything already confirmed stays picked.

Abandoning a run

Selecting Cancel run abandons it: unpicked allocations are released back to the queue, and confirmed picks stand. See the run statuses reference for the full run status lifecycle.

Run scope

A run is a set of allocations, and it can carry lines for more than one order — where orders going to the same address have been combined, the picker works them together in one run.
