Build a bundle

This is the recipe for turning a variant into a bundle. Bundles are a catalogue idea, but the editor itself lives with the variant's stock, under Inventory — not under Products.

1. Go to Inventory → Variants and open the variant you want to sell as a bundle.
2. Expand the Bundle section. It's collapsed by default unless the variant already has components.
3. Under Bundle components, enter a component's Component SKU and the Qty that goes into one bundle, then select Add. Repeat for every component.
4. Select Save bundle.

Clearing every component and saving turns the variant back into an ordinary variant — it stops being a bundle.

What to expect on the next order

See bundles for what happens once this variant is ordered: Yessort adds each component to the order behind the scenes, at recipe quantity × the quantity of the bundle ordered, and it's the components — not the bundle line — that carry stock, reservation, allocation and picking.
