Trading relationships
This page is for anyone in either organisation on a shared site — a trading relationship is what turns "we share a warehouse" into "we can trade stock with each other," and it affects what the facility operator and every brand tenant can see.
A trading relationship is an agreement between two organisations to trade. It's symmetric — one relationship covers both directions, so there's no separate "supplying" and "receiving" side to configure. Either organisation can publish supply to the other, and either can draw on what the other publishes, under the same relationship.
What it gates
An active trading relationship gates everything cross-organisation between that pair. Without one: published availability between the two organisations stays empty, the Available to relist and Supply to counterparts screens show nothing for that counterpart, the partner totals shown alongside a variant's own stock don't appear, and no trade between the two organisations can complete.
Set up during onboarding, not in the app
A trading relationship can't be created, paused or terminated from within Yessort. It's set up when your organisations are onboarded, as part of getting a shared site ready to trade on.
If you're publishing supply and see the message "No active trading relationships — establish one to publish availability," that means exactly what it says — no relationship has been set up yet — but there's no button or link on that screen to establish one. If you see it and expect a relationship to be in place, contact Yessort.
The one part you can change
Once a relationship exists, one thing about it is editable in the app: how often it auto-settles with its counterpart. That cadence is set from the intercompany settlement screen, not from anywhere on this page.
