Publish supply to a counterpart
This is for the organisation publishing its own stock — you'll need a variant already linked to a shared anchor before there's anything to publish here.
Set what you supply automatically
Most publishing happens on its own, once you've told Yessort how much to hold back.
- Go to Supply to counterparts in the sidebar.
- Every anchored variant your organisation holds is listed, one row each, whether or not you currently have any trading counterparts.
- On the row for the variant you want to supply, enter the quantity you want to keep back for yourself in the reserve field under the Reserve column. It has no visible label of its own beyond the column header, but it's the numeric input on that row.
- Tick Pause sharing if you want to stop supplying this variant to every counterpart, without changing the reserve you've set.
- Select Save on that row.
Whatever isn't held back — your own sellable stock at sites you share with a counterpart, minus your reserve — publishes automatically to every active trading relationship you have. There's no per-counterpart figure to set here: one reserve applies to all of them alike. The Published column on this page shows what's gone out, but as a maximum across your counterparts rather than one figure per counterpart — see what "Available" means, where for why that can hide real differences between them.
Publish a one-off figure to a single counterpart
If you need to override what one specific counterpart sees, without touching your general reserve, do it from the anchor's own detail page instead — but only if your organisation curates the anchor. Opening an anchor's own page is curator-only, so if your variant is linked to an anchor curated by someone else, you can't reach this form yourself; ask the curating organisation to set the override.
- Open the anchor from Anchors — this only works for the organisation that curates it — then find the card titled Supply-link availability.
- Underneath the table of what's already published, find the paragraph introducing "Publish to a counterpart" — this isn't a button, just the section's own explanation, sitting above the fields.
- Pick a Consumer from the list of your active counterparts.
- Enter Qty available and Reserve (kept back).
- Select Publish.
This is a temporary override: the next automatic publish — triggered by any stock or reservation change, or the hourly safety check if nothing else fires — replaces it. If no counterpart shows up on this form, it's because you have no active trading relationship yet; see trading relationships for what that means.
See how supply links work for what these figures mean to the counterpart receiving them.
