Putaway and pick-face replenishment task statuses
Both putaway tasks and pick-face replenishment tasks follow the same three-status lifecycle.
Task statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Raised and waiting to be claimed. |
| In progress | Claimed. Stock can now be placed (putaway) or moved (pick-face replenishment) against the task. |
| Completed | Every line has been fully resolved — every unit placed, or the pick face topped up to its target. |
Neither kind of task can be cancelled. There's no control for it in the app, on a putaway task or a replenishment task.
Putaway line statuses
A putaway task's lines move through their own states as stock is placed:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Nothing from this line has been placed yet. |
| Partially placed | Some, but not all, of the line's quantity has been placed. |
| Placed | The full quantity has been placed. A line can be placed across more than one location — repeat placement with a smaller quantity and a different destination each time. |
A replenishment task doesn't track its lines through separate states the same way — it simply tracks how many units have been moved into the pick face against how many are needed, and completes once the two match.
